Join your fellow Kansas Army and Air Guardsmen in Detroit for the NGAUS General Conference Business Meeting where Guardsmen from all 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia gather for business, networking, and comradery. Conference registrations must be completed at the state association level.
Registration Fees:
Company Grade Officers: Free Registration for all currently serving lieutenants, captains, warrant officer 1s and chief warrant officer 2s and a guest.
Field Grade Officers: Field-grade officers and chief warrant officers 3s, 4s, and 5s (must be currently serving) and a guest will only pay $50.
Retired, Additional Guests, and Civilians: All other attendees will pay the standard $180 registration fee.
Registration Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writting prior to July 14, 2024. Refunds minus a $15 administrative fee will be processed after the conclusion of the conference. No refunds will be provided after July 15, 2024.
Hotel:
The Kansas delegation will be headquartered at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, 400 Renaissance Drive, Detroit, MI 48243.
The room rate for king and double queen rooms is $173.65 per night inclusive of all taxes and fees. Accommodation reservations will be made by NGAKS on your behalf. A personal credit card will be required upon check-in for all room charges. Please indicate if you will be sharing a room with another attendee on your reservation form or if you will be staying off site.
Airport Transportation:
Shuttle transportation between the airport and hotel is $9 each way per person. Shuttles run in a loop August 22-23 from 10AM -8PM and on August 27 from 6AM-3PM. If you need transportation outside of the scheduled shuttles, the Detroit People Mover, the subway system, does have a station attached to the Renaissance Center complex.
